Back to School Night

Dear Crusader Parent:

Thank you for working with us in providing a very smooth start for our students.  Now is a good time for parents to learn about the various classes that your child attends.  Back to School Night is a very special time and research shows that when parents are involved with their child’s education, academic and social success are the outcomes.  You will also have an opportunity to vote for our parent representatives on our School Site Council (SSC).  If you are interested in running for this important committee, please contact Ms. Michelle Godfrey at 397-2200.

The purpose of Back to School Night is to learn about course requirements and content, to view textbooks and materials, to meet your child’s teachers and to become acquainted with the campus.  This is not an appropriate time to discuss the progress of your child, as there will be many parents in the classroom.  If you have any personal questions, please call the teacher and your call will be returned.

Because we are anticipating a large parent turnout, we recommend that students not attend.  I look forward to meeting you on Thursday.  The school administrators will be available to talk with you, as they will be walking around campus.  See you at 6:00 p.m.!

*Parking is available on the courts in back of the school, on Ridgeback Road or at Bonita Vista High’s lot across from the shopping center.  DO NOT park at the Bonita View Business Center.  Come early!  Traffic is a problem.
