BVM Back to School Night – Thursday, August 11, 2016

Food Fair: 5:00 PM     Class Visitations: Beginning at 6:00 PM

Dear Crusader Parents:

Thank you for working with us in providing a very smooth start for our students. Now is a good time for parents to learn about the various classes that your child attends. Back to School Night is a very special time and research shows that when parents are involved with their child’s education, academic and social success are the outcomes. You will also have an opportunity to vote for our parent representatives on our School Site Council (SSC). If you are interested in running for this important committee, please contact Ms. Martha Amador at 397-2200 no later than Monday, August 8th.

The purpose of Back to School Night is to learn about course requirements and content, to view textbooks and materials, to meet your child’s teachers, and to become acquainted with the campus. This is not an appropriate time to discuss the progress of your child, as there will be many parents in the classroom. If you have any personal questions, please call or email the teacher directly.

Because we are anticipating a large parent turnout, we recommend that students not attend. I look forward to meeting you on Thursday. Our food fair will start promptly at 5:00pm and our class visitations will start promptly at 6:00pm.

Parking is available on the courts in back of the school, on Ridgeback or at Bonita Vista High’s lot across from Ralphs. DO NOT park at the Bonita View Business Center.
