CJSF is an organization whose purpose is to foster high standards of scholarship, service, and citizenship on the part of the students of Bonita Vista Middle School.  Students must qualify each semester on the basis of last semester’s grades.  They must show initiative:   attend 2 meetings per semester and fill out and turn in the  application form.  Requested dues are $2 per semester.  Our goal is to prepare students for membership in the high school California Scholarship Federation where honors upon graduation and scholarship monies are possible.  To be a CJSF sealbearer, students must qualify and join the organization three out of their four semesters at BVM.  Sealbearers receive a gold seal on the promotion certificate and a pin to wear at the promotion ceremony.  They also receive an honor at promotion such as standing for recognition or being at the front of the class.
