BVM Virtual Turkey Trot

Get active and compete for prizes by participating in the 2020 BVM Virtual Turkey Trot!

Top Finisher Prizes go to the fastest runners.  Every participant will receive a virtual Finisher’s Certificate! 

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

Run two miles any time between Monday, November 9 and Friday, November 20, 2020.

WHERE SHOULD I RUN?

Use one of the running routes near BVM below or create your own route using On The Go Map.  You could also run on a treadmill.

Running Route 1: Otay Lakes Hill + Neighborhood Cut Through Behind the Racquetball Courts

Running Route 2: Up Baylor, Hilly

Running Route 3: Discovery Park

Make sure that an adult knows when and where you’re running and/or accompanies you on your run.

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY RESULTS?

Track your run time using a watch, cell phone or other device.

Upload your time using the form below.

BVM 2020 Virtual Turkey Trot

IMPORTANT: All results must be submitted by Friday, November 20, 2020.

If you want to be considered for a Top Finisher Prize, you must also upload a photo of your watch or cell phone that displays your finish time.

Congratulations to all Turkey Trot runners!  We had a great day out in P.E. yesterday and all the coaches are very proud of everyone who participated.  We would like to highlight those students who won the turkeys and pumpkin pies to take home to their families this year!

BVM Turkey Trot 2014

Our annual BVM Turkey Trot is scheduled to take place in P.E. classes on Wednesday, November 19 and Thursday, November 20, 2014.  This highly lauded event is a one mile running race held on the BVM mile course and is steeped in tradition.  All Crusaders will participate in the event, running in two separate heats (boys and girls) during each class period.  School-wide winners will be determined in four categories:

8th Grade Girls

8th Grade Boys

7th Grade Girls

7th Grade Boys

There will prizes for the top three in each category, with the winner taking home a turkey to cook!

Runners finishing in the Top 20 will receive a t-shirt printed with the 2014 Turkey Trot logo.

Parents and other community members that desire to attend must check-in at the Main Office before entering campus.  Crusader Pride!
